Drew worked with my 13 year old daughter throughout the summer. This greatly improved her confidence and her aptitude. She had been taking algebra in 8th grade, during her sessions they dove into concepts she was struggling with working ahead to geometry. Definitely a very logical approach to tutoring, and my daughter listened to Drew, much more than me! I feel like he showed a great deal of patience, overall was a positive experience and worth the price.

Drew has been tutoring our 8th grade daughter with Algebra. My daughter says he explains concepts very well and works through problems with her in a way that really solidifies her understanding. She enjoys working with him and looks forward to her tutoring sessions!

We’ve seen huge progress in our daughter (8th grade, PPS) since joining up with Drew! We transitioned from another tutor and noticed an immediate difference in her attitude and confidence.

The online tutoring setup has been a great fit, even after returning to in-person classes. It’s also been super convenient for our busy schedule, even taking tutoring sessions while traveling.

Drew has worked with our sixth grade son over the past year and has been wonderful--patient and warm and funny. My son is a bit slow to warm up and shy but after each session wraps up, he seems excited about what they covered and where he's at. Mr. Laiche is a great tutor and has done such an excellent job helping our daughter through her Geometry class. With his help, she has received an A grade for the semester. She truly appreciates the thorough way in which he explains new concepts and how he breaks them down to simplify them. In addition to that, he is very responsive, punctual, and makes online learning easy. If you’re in need of a tutor, Mr. Laiche is a fantastic choice!

My daughter had been doing Kumon for a few years and was finding it hard to stay motivated. We decided to try a tutor and found Mr. Drew Laiche, of Portland Math Tutor. Wow! What a great change in her attitude and interest in math. I'm 100% confident she will be set for the challenges of high school math and physics. Great teacher and great business.
