Mr. Laiche is patient and clear in his explanations of math with our middle school child who will not take math help from parents. We appreciate his familiarity with the PPS math curriculum. He is able to answer questions from during the week when topics are not covered clearly in our child's classroom instruction and helps to work ahead when possible.

My child’s math confidence has improved beyond my expectations this school year working with Mr. Laiche. He’s helped undo years of frustrations and now we see smiles when it comes to math. Drew Laiche is an amazing teacher! He worked with my 14 year old son this summer to prep for high school math -- algebra and geometry.
Drew's style is easy going and he makes the lessons interesting so the concepts stick. He is patient and works with the student to make sure everything is clear before moving on to the next subject. It's the perfect amount of instruction for the child and I wish that we had found him sooner! I wholeheartedly recommend his services.

My daughter had been doing Kumon for a few years and was finding it hard to stay motivated. We decided to try a tutor and found Mr. Drew Laiche, of Portland Math Tutor. Wow! What a great change in her attitude and interest in math. I'm 100% confident she will be set for the challenges of high school math and physics. Great teacher and great business. Mr. Laiche works with both of my elementary-aged sons. They want a little more challenge in math so he prepares problem-solving work for them and ensures they're using good methods to solve those puzzles. He's patient and encouraging, supportive and positive. We really enjoy working with Drew!

Drew tutors both of my daughters who are at different math levels (Junior, Pre-Calc and 8th grade, Compacted math). He flawlessly transitions from one to the other. Both of my daughters have said he has been a huge help and they really enjoy working with him. We appreciate that he can come to the house and scheduling has been easy. My girls would highly recommend him!
