In the middle of 7th grade, our son fell behind in math, and was embarrassed to ask for help. We tried to mentor him, but found it extremely frustrating to productively teach him ourselves. I immediately searched for a math tutor and found Drew, he has mentored my son now for over two years. We are beyond grateful for his expertise. He not only is an excellent teacher, he makes math fun. My son looks forward to the math sessions with Drew. Drew is very familiar with the PPS math curriculum. Above and beyond math, he is reliable, organized, professional, kind, and builds his student's confidence. My son's math grades are A's. I can't say enough good things about our experience with him. Thank you Drew!

Drew Laiche was recommended by a friend to tutor our kid in math during the pandemic. He is very personable, kind, funny, and most all, he had the ability to help our kid absorb math processes and problem solving skills during a time when absorbing any information is very difficult! We will definitely call him again in the future if needed. Highly recommend.

Our daughter is in 7th grade and taking Compacted Math via distance learning within PPS. Having Mr. Laiche as a tutor has helped tremendously and her confidence in math has increased as a direct result of Mr. Laiche’s guidance and explanations during the tutoring sessions. Excellent value for your time and money. We plan to continue her tutoring once in-person school resumes. Highly recommend!

Drew is fantastic! We worked with him for the first time thru all of distance learning and will continue with him once the girls are back in school as well. He’s very patient and communicative. Our oldest daughter chose to switch to compact math because she “felt more confident” since starting math tutoring with Drew, and our youngest “doesn’t hate math anymore” :) We highly recommend Drew - in fact our 2 closest family friends use him too.

We’ve seen huge progress in our daughter (8th grade, PPS) since joining up with Drew! We transitioned from another tutor and noticed an immediate difference in her attitude and confidence.

The online tutoring setup has been a great fit, even after returning to in-person classes. It’s also been super convenient for our busy schedule, even taking tutoring sessions while traveling.

Drew follows the same methods as the classroom to keep things consistent… takes a holistic approach to best support her learning style/needs… identifies learning gaps and goes back to (re)build that foundation… strikes the right balance of kindness, patience, fun, and accountability… and has been extremely flexible and reliable with us as parents.

We would 1000% recommend Drew!

Drew has worked with our sixth grade son over the past year and has been wonderful--patient and warm and funny. My son is a bit slow to warm up and shy but after each session wraps up, he seems excited about what they covered and where he's at. Their working together has no doubt made a significant difference in terms of where my son's mathematical understanding is at now--we're grateful we found Drew!
