Mr. Laiche was instrumental in catching our daughter up in Algebra after an extended illness that caused her to miss over a month of classes. He is well worth the investment!

Drew is a great instructor! He communicates difficult concepts in a clear and understandable manner. During a time when schools are struggling to properly teach students Drew is able to connect and educate his students. My daughter had been doing Kumon for a few years and was finding it hard to stay motivated. We decided to try a tutor and found Mr. Drew Laiche, of Portland Math Tutor. Wow! What a great change in her attitude and interest in math. I'm 100% confident she will be set for the challenges of high school math and physics. Great teacher and great business. I recommend Mr. Laiche exponentially!

My daughter is taking Advanced Algebra 3-4 Honors. She was struggling and her grade dropped to a D. Mr. Laiche provided her exceptional guidance and just had her final and received a final grade of B. We believe continued Tutoring should elevate her grade further. In the middle of 7th grade, our son fell behind in math, and was embarrassed to ask for help. We tried to mentor him, but found it extremely frustrating to productively teach him ourselves. I immediately searched for a math tutor and found Drew, he has mentored my son now for over two years. We are beyond grateful for his expertise. He not only is an excellent teacher, he makes math fun. My son looks forward to the math sessions with Drew. Drew is very familiar with the PPS math curriculum. Above and beyond math, he is reliable, organized, professional, kind, and builds his student's confidence. My son's math grades are A's. I can't say enough good things about our experience with him. Mr. Laiche tutored our 8th grade daughter along with two friends for about 6 months to give her and them better support than they were able to get through their own math class. These comments also reflect her input. Mr. Laiche was responsive, kind, and able to zero in immediately on their needs. He was good at delivering feedback in a constructive way and allowed room for questions. He provided a good balance of promoting the kids to figure things out independently but with good instruction. He engaged the kids personably but with the right mix that focused mostly on math. We highly recommend him! They are definitely ready for high school math because of him!!

Drew has been a great tutor for our high school sophomore. He explains concepts and provides feedback. Our son has a better understanding of concepts and his homework. Drew has been great about scheduling and he is very organized. We are very happy with Drew!
