Our daughter is in 7th grade and taking Compacted Math via distance learning within PPS. Having Mr. Laiche as a tutor has helped tremendously and her confidence in math has increased as a direct result of Mr. Laiche’s guidance and explanations during the tutoring sessions. Excellent value for your time and money. We plan to continue her tutoring once in-person school resumes. Highly recommend!

After calling around a few places for a math tutor, Drew at Portland Math Tutoring was quick to respond with availability, prices & a thorough explanation as to what math tutoring will accomplish . With online schooling due to the pandemic, math started to be a struggle for our new middle-schooler. As parents, we had tried teaching to him ourselves, but essentially could not explain or even begin to understand the new Common Core math to help our son understand. After the first online session with Drew, our son felt very comfortable, because Drew was able to explain and connect with him about math. It's been a few months & our son is feeling confident in math & looks forward to his online sessions. Drew is a professional with clear communication & I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a math tutor.

Drew Laiche was recommended by a friend to tutor our kid in math during the pandemic. He is very personable, kind, funny, and most all, he had the ability to help our kid absorb math processes and problem solving skills during a time when absorbing any information is very difficult! Thank you Drew! We have had a wonderful experience with Drew as two of my daughters' (7th and 12th grade) math tutor for a year now. He is always professional, on time, provides content and knows how to motivate my girls to do better.
He was able to pivot to an online platform almost instantly when the pandemic stopped our ability to meet in person and we appreciate his efforts and success with that change.
My girls have seen amazing results from their weekly meetings with Drew and they have continued to increase their individual abilities in math and in the language of math. Drew has been great working with both of our sons for the last year & has been wonderful, patient & creative, especially with navigating distance tutoring. Mr. Laiche is an incredible math tutor. He's not only helped our son with pre-calculus, but now our daughter with geometry. He's patient, approachable and takes the time to explain concepts in a way that is easier to absorb than in the classroom with multiple students and limited time. We highly recommend.

I came to Drew at the end of my term and he really helped me prepare for my final. We went over review and practice problems and he helped me through them.
