Our daughter is in 7th grade and taking Compacted Math via distance learning within PPS. Having Mr. Laiche as a tutor has helped tremendously and her confidence in math has increased as a direct result of Mr. Laiche’s guidance and explanations during the tutoring sessions. Excellent value for your time and money. We plan to continue her tutoring once in-person school resumes. Highly recommend!

My son and I highly recommend Mr. Laiche. He has been tutoring my son in Pre-calculus for three months. During that time, he has gone from getting F's on his unit tests to getting B's. Mr. Laiche has been very patient and done an excellent job of breaking down the complex information and helping my son understand the material. He has always been prompt to appointments and very flexible with scheduling. My son would be failing math without his help. Thank you for all your help!

Mr. Laiche is patient and clear in his explanations of math with our middle school child who will not take math help from parents. We appreciate his familiarity with the PPS math curriculum. He is able to answer questions from during the week when topics are not covered clearly in our child's classroom instruction and helps to work ahead when possible.

Our 7th grader has been lucky to have Drew as our math tutor for the past year. Aside from the obvious and measurable improvement in grades, we have also noted an increase in confidence and overall interest in math. Mr. Laiche tutored our 8th grade daughter along with two friends for about 6 months to give her and them better support than they were able to get through their own math class. These comments also reflect her input. Mr. Laiche was responsive, kind, and able to zero in immediately on their needs. He was good at delivering feedback in a constructive way and allowed room for questions. He provided a good balance of promoting the kids to figure things out independently but with good instruction. He engaged the kids personably but with the right mix that focused mostly on math. We highly recommend him! They are definitely ready for high school math because of him!!

One of the greatest math tutors in Portland and very flexible with scheduling and times! He is a very good one on one tutor and really prepares students for success in whatever math their in. He was able to help me develop math skills such as basic algebra, problem skill techniques, writing each step and problem so I could follow along with my own work, and he helped build confidence in knowing how to do different variations of problems. Overall I think he can help your son/daughter in a way to develop good habits for the future! I worked with Drew from middle school and now I'm going into AP calculus next year. Great tutor!
