Services
Portland Math Tutor, LLC provides private math tutoring. Tutoring is provided as instructional support; no specific grade or outcome is guaranteed.
Payments and billing
- Payment is due at the time of booking, unless you have a prepaid package or an approved invoicing arrangement.
- We accept payment by card and other methods through our payment processor, Stripe. Card details are collected and processed by Stripe and are not stored on our systems.
- Invoices are due on the date stated on the invoice.
Cancellation and refund policy
- Rescheduling: Sessions may be rescheduled up to 24 hours before the scheduled tutoring time. Rescheduling carries a $10 fee, and rescheduled sessions should be completed within the same month where possible. Rescheduling is not available with less than 24 hours’ notice.
- Late cancellation / no-show: If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, or do not attend a scheduled session, no refund is given.
- Repeated rescheduling: Clients who repeatedly reschedule sessions may be dropped from our roster.
- Prepaid packages: The unused portion of a prepaid package may be refunded, minus payment processing fees. Sessions already delivered are non-refundable.
- Exceptions: Refunds outside this policy are granted at our sole discretion on a case-by-case basis.
Text messaging terms
By providing your phone number to Portland Math Tutor, LLC, you consent to receive text messages from us about tutoring session scheduling, reminders, confirmations, and related communications. Message frequency varies.
- Opt out: Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help.
- Message and data rates: Standard message and data rates may apply.
- Carrier liability: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Not a condition of purchase: Agreeing to receive texts is not required to receive tutoring services.
