My son and I highly recommend Mr. Laiche. He has been tutoring my son in Pre-calculus for three months. During that time, he has gone from getting F's on his unit tests to getting B's. Mr. Laiche has been very patient and done an excellent job of breaking down the complex information and helping my son understand the material. Drew is an amazing tutor, our son Ali has been struggling with Math ever since elementary school, we had worked with another tutor but not much changed with his challenges. I found Drew online, he sounded very professional and that was already confirmed when he showed up for the first session. We started seeing improvement in Ali after a month already, he started building confidence in math and was able to make connections which he was unable before. One of the greatest math tutors in Portland and very flexible with scheduling and times! He is a very good one on one tutor and really prepares students for success in whatever math their in. He was able to help me develop math skills such as basic algebra, problem skill techniques, writing each step and problem so I could follow along with my own work, and he helped build confidence in knowing how to do different variations of problems. Overall I think he can help your son/daughter in a way to develop good habits for the future! I worked with Drew from middle school and now I'm going into AP calculus next year. Great tutor!

Drew Laiche currently tutors my son in math. My son has always struggled with understanding and retaining math skills. Despite my son's resistance to math instruction in school, he enjoys his tutoring sessions with Drew. My son also struggles a great deal with focus and Drew is always upbeat and patient with him. Our daughter is in 7th grade and taking Compacted Math via distance learning within PPS. Having Mr. Laiche as a tutor has helped tremendously and her confidence in math has increased as a direct result of Mr. Laiche’s guidance and explanations during the tutoring sessions. I came to Drew at the end of my term and he really helped me prepare for my final. We went over review and practice problems and he helped me through them. Drew Laiche is an amazing teacher! He worked with my 14 year old son this summer to prep for high school math -- algebra and geometry.
Drew's style is easy going and he makes the lessons interesting so the concepts stick. He is patient and works with the student to make sure everything is clear before moving on to the next subject. It's the perfect amount of instruction for the child and I wish that we had found him sooner! I wholeheartedly recommend his services.

My daughter is taking Advanced Algebra 3-4 Honors. She was struggling and her grade dropped to a D. Mr. Laiche provided her exceptional guidance and just had her final and received a final grade of B. We believe continued Tutoring should elevate her grade further. Drew has been great working with both of our sons for the last year & has been wonderful, patient & creative, especially with navigating distance tutoring. He is adaptable to school curriculum as well as other learning platforms. He understands the social-emotional aspects of math anxiety, and has been enormously helpful to us parents with adjusting to online learning. Very grateful to be working with Drew!
