Drew has been great working with both of our sons for the last year & has been wonderful, patient & creative, especially with navigating distance tutoring. He is adaptable to school curriculum as well as other learning platforms. He understands the social-emotional aspects of math anxiety, and has been enormously helpful to us parents with adjusting to online learning. Very grateful to be working with Drew!

Our 7th grader has been lucky to have Drew as our math tutor for the past year. Aside from the obvious and measurable improvement in grades, we have also noted an increase in confidence and overall interest in math. He now looks forward to his tutoring sessions and has enjoyed the ability to ask questions at his own pace and learning style.

Drew has been fantastic. He has been working with our son since he started high school. He is patient and engaging, and with his help our son was able to progress through advanced math courses and prepare for the SAT with confidence. His understanding and skills continue to noticeably improve. Definitely recommend!

My daughter had been doing Kumon for a few years and was finding it hard to stay motivated. We decided to try a tutor and found Mr. Drew Laiche, of Portland Math Tutor. Wow! What a great change in her attitude and interest in math. I'm 100% confident she will be set for the challenges of high school math and physics. Great teacher and great business. Drew Laiche was recommended by a friend to tutor our kid in math during the pandemic. He is very personable, kind, funny, and most all, he had the ability to help our kid absorb math processes and problem solving skills during a time when absorbing any information is very difficult! Mr. Laiche is patient and clear in his explanations of math with our middle school child who will not take math help from parents. We appreciate his familiarity with the PPS math curriculum. He is able to answer questions from during the week when topics are not covered clearly in our child's classroom instruction and helps to work ahead when possible.
