Drew is fantastic! We worked with him for the first time thru all of distance learning and will continue with him once the girls are back in school as well. He’s very patient and communicative. Drew Laiche is an amazing teacher! He worked with my 14 year old son this summer to prep for high school math -- algebra and geometry.
Drew's style is easy going and he makes the lessons interesting so the concepts stick. He is patient and works with the student to make sure everything is clear before moving on to the next subject. It's the perfect amount of instruction for the child and I wish that we had found him sooner! I wholeheartedly recommend his services.

Drew has been fantastic. He has been working with our son since he started high school. He is patient and engaging, and with his help our son was able to progress through advanced math courses and prepare for the SAT with confidence. Great experience for my high schooler. He has a great rapport and ability to help teens grasp math concepts.
Mr Laiche has been tutoring our daughter started in mid of her 8th grade and now she is a Freshman in High School. Her grade had improved significantly when she finished the 8th grade year. Drew is a very talented tutor for math. He worked with my daughter over the past two years and she really appreciated his support. After calling around a few places for a math tutor, Drew at Portland Math Tutoring was quick to respond with availability, prices & a thorough explanation as to what math tutoring will accomplish . With online schooling due to the pandemic, math started to be a struggle for our new middle-schooler. As parents, we had tried teaching to him ourselves, but essentially could not explain or even begin to understand the new Common Core math to help our son understand. After the first online session with Drew, our son felt very comfortable, because Drew was able to explain and connect with him about math. It's been a few months & our son is feeling confident in math & looks forward to his online sessions. Drew is a professional with clear communication & I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a math tutor.

I came to Drew at the end of my term and he really helped me prepare for my final. We went over review and practice problems and he helped me through them. I felt super confident after all my sessions that I understood the material and felt confident going into the exam. I definitely will be working with him again.

Drew tutors both of my daughters who are at different math levels (Junior, Pre-Calc and 8th grade, Compacted math). He flawlessly transitions from one to the other. Both of my daughters have said he has been a huge help and they really enjoy working with him. We appreciate that he can come to the house and scheduling has been easy. My girls would highly recommend him!

Drew has been great working with both of our sons for the last year & has been wonderful, patient & creative, especially with navigating distance tutoring. He is adaptable to school curriculum as well as other learning platforms.
