Drew Laiche currently tutors my son in math. My son has always struggled with understanding and retaining math skills. Despite my son's resistance to math instruction in school, he enjoys his tutoring sessions with Drew. My son also struggles a great deal with focus and Drew is always upbeat and patient with him. I appreciate Drew's persistence and commitment to my son's education. He is easy to communicate with and has set up online instruction for my son to access from home. I highly recommend Drew as a math tutor.

One of the greatest math tutors in Portland and very flexible with scheduling and times! He is a very good one on one tutor and really prepares students for success in whatever math their in. He was able to help me develop math skills such as basic algebra, problem skill techniques, writing each step and problem so I could follow along with my own work, and he helped build confidence in knowing how to do different variations of problems. Overall I think he can help your son/daughter in a way to develop good habits for the future! I worked with Drew from middle school and now I'm going into AP calculus next year. Great tutor!

Mr. Laiche is patient and clear in his explanations of math with our middle school child who will not take math help from parents. We appreciate his familiarity with the PPS math curriculum. He is able to answer questions from during the week when topics are not covered clearly in our child's classroom instruction and helps to work ahead when possible.

We reached out to Drew for help getting our daughter through pre-calculus and we couldn't be happier with the results. He is extremely patient and met her where she was at which helped her succeed in getting caught up and staying there! Our only regret is that we didn't do it sooner!

Highly recommend Mr. Laiche! He has been so great to work with remotely during the pandemic, and has really helped my middle schooler feel more confident about math. Mr. Laiche adjusts his lessons to accommodate what my child is working on at school, which has been incredibly helpful during this year of distance learning.

In the middle of 7th grade, our son fell behind in math, and was embarrassed to ask for help. We tried to mentor him, but found it extremely frustrating to productively teach him ourselves. I immediately searched for a math tutor and found Drew, he has mentored my son now for over two years. We are beyond grateful for his expertise. He not only is an excellent teacher, he makes math fun. My son looks forward to the math sessions with Drew. Drew is very familiar with the PPS math curriculum. Our 7th grader has been lucky to have Drew as our math tutor for the past year. Aside from the obvious and measurable improvement in grades, we have also noted an increase in confidence and overall interest in math. Our son has thrived in his advanced Algebra analysis class in high school because of Drew. He went from a C to straight A's the whole year. The online platform is fantastic and easy to navigate. Drew is easy to communicate with. We highly recommend him and are very grateful for his help!
