Drew Laiche is an amazing teacher! He worked with my 14 year old son this summer to prep for high school math -- algebra and geometry.
Drew's style is easy going and he makes the lessons interesting so the concepts stick. He is patient and works with the student to make sure everything is clear before moving on to the next subject. It's the perfect amount of instruction for the child and I wish that we had found him sooner! I wholeheartedly recommend his services.

My daughter had been doing Kumon for a few years and was finding it hard to stay motivated. We decided to try a tutor and found Mr. Drew Laiche, of Portland Math Tutor. Wow! Drew tutors both of my daughters who are at different math levels (Junior, Pre-Calc and 8th grade, Compacted math). He flawlessly transitions from one to the other. Both of my daughters have said he has been a huge help and they really enjoy working with him. We appreciate that he can come to the house and scheduling has been easy. My girls would highly recommend him!

Drew has been a great tutor for our high school sophomore. He explains concepts and provides feedback. Our son has a better understanding of concepts and his homework. Drew has been great about scheduling and he is very organized. We are very happy with Drew!

Mr. Laiche is patient and clear in his explanations of math with our middle school child who will not take math help from parents. We appreciate his familiarity with the PPS math curriculum. He is able to answer questions from during the week when topics are not covered clearly in our child's classroom instruction and helps to work ahead when possible.

Drew is an amazing tutor, our son Ali has been struggling with Math ever since elementary school, we had worked with another tutor but not much changed with his challenges. I found Drew online, he sounded very professional and that was already confirmed when he showed up for the first session. We started seeing improvement in Ali after a month already, he started building confidence in math and was able to make connections which he was unable before. We are so thankful for the support that we are getting from Drew, he is an amazing tutor with positive & constructive approach.

My daughter is taking Advanced Algebra 3-4 Honors. She was struggling and her grade dropped to a D. Mr. Laiche provided her exceptional guidance and just had her final and received a final grade of B. We believe continued Tutoring should elevate her grade further.
