Drew has a great rapport with our 13-year old son who is geeking out on math. He looks forward to his tutor sessions with Drew and seems to absorb everything he is learning. We have even recommended Drew to a couple other families who are equally pleased with their kids’ improvement in math.

My daughter is taking Advanced Algebra 3-4 Honors. She was struggling and her grade dropped to a D. Mr. Laiche provided her exceptional guidance and just had her final and received a final grade of B. We believe continued Tutoring should elevate her grade further. Drew worked with my 13 year old daughter throughout the summer. This greatly improved her confidence and her aptitude. She had been taking algebra in 8th grade, during her sessions they dove into concepts she was struggling with working ahead to geometry. Definitely a very logical approach to tutoring, and my daughter listened to Drew, much more than me! I feel like he showed a great deal of patience, overall was a positive experience and worth the price.

Drew is a great instructor! He communicates difficult concepts in a clear and understandable manner. During a time when schools are struggling to properly teach students Drew is able to connect and educate his students. Drew is fantastic! We worked with him for the first time thru all of distance learning and will continue with him once the girls are back in school as well. He’s very patient and communicative. Our oldest daughter chose to switch to compact math because she “felt more confident” since starting math tutoring with Drew, and our youngest “doesn’t hate math anymore” :) We highly recommend Drew - in fact our 2 closest family friends use him too.

My daughter had been doing Kumon for a few years and was finding it hard to stay motivated. We decided to try a tutor and found Mr. Drew Laiche, of Portland Math Tutor. Wow! What a great change in her attitude and interest in math. I'm 100% confident she will be set for the challenges of high school math and physics. Great teacher and great business.
